Poktori ill
Today I received a phonecall from AQIS saying that Poktori was ill (vomiting and diarrhoea) asking me whether I would pay for vet to drive there and have a look at him. The vet rang me later saying he might have a kidney or liver problem considering his age, but that she had to run some blood tests to see what might be the problem. Tomorrow they're going to feed him some special diet (they stopped feeding for a day because he could not keep it in), and I hope you will all keep your fingers crossed for me and him that he eats it and starts feeling better. Having to listen to the vet saying, "if he is like this tomorrow, I would like to take him into our hospital" really is not a very nice thing to hear three days before his scheduled release... :o( RHM

Fingers and toes crossed that he will get better. :(
He will get better and it sounds like he is in good hands.
Poktori heeft wel eens voor hetere vuren gestaan (psycho totoro bijv.) en zich er altijd goed doorheen weten te slaan. Toch zullen ook wij de vingers maar kruisen.
Dat ie maar snel op zijn nieuwe stekkie mag zijn

if crossed fingers thing is for the "success" of the Dutch team... hehehe, I reckon I am going to get one of those World Cup voodo dolls just for counterpart, really:-) hj
